Italian Escapes Rome & Florence Escapade with Pisa - 6 Days / 5 Nights - Tourist Category

Day 1:

Arrival in Rome, transfer to the hotel on your own. Overnight stay in Rome.

Day 2:

Breakfast at the hotel, Meet our guide at 09:00 AM at Parco Colle Oppio, via delle Terme di Tito, corner of via Nicola Salvi (inside the park) for the tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Access the Palatine Hill with no line and discover the foundation site of Rome. Then enter the Colosseum, ancient Amphitheater for bloody shows with gladiators, animals, and cruel games. Walk on the Via Sacra, see Temples of Vesta, Antonino and Faustina, the Basilica Julia and Aemilia.  Afternoon at your leisure, offering time to discover and enjoy the charm of Rome independently. Overnight stay in Rome. 

Day 3:

Breakfast at the hotel; meet our professional guide in Piazza del Risorgimento (meeting point time based on the selected language) and take a tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Admire the Gallery of Maps, the Gallery of Tapestries, the Borgia Apartments. Learn about the Raphael Rooms and The School of Athens. Enter the Sistine Chapel, with its ceiling as a cornerstone of High Renaissance art.  Visit St. Peter’s Square, redesigned by Bernini, an architectural Baroque masterpiece. Admire St. Peter’s Basilica (outside), the largest church in the world, home to the canopy by Bernini and Pietà by Michelangelo. Tour ends at St.Peter’s square. The rest of the day is free to explore and admire the beauty of Rome at your own pace. Overnight stay in Rome. 

Day 4:

Breakfast at the hotel, departure by train and arrive in Florence. Once there, make your own way to your hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 5:

Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy a free morning among the timeless wonders of Florence, strolling through art, history, and unforgettable views. Alternatively, you can browse our Florence sightseeing catalogue for optional tours. In the early afternoon, meeting point (on your own) at Piazzale Montelungo at 01:15 PM (Montelungo Square), at the end of the ramp connecting with the railway station. An assistant waits wearing blue clothing with Gray Line logos to join the group before departing to Pisa at 01:30. Upon arrival in Pisa, you will visit Piazza dei Miracoli, the Baptistery (outside), the Cathedral (outside), and the Leaning Tower (outside). Return to Florence and overnight.

Day 6:

Breakfast at the hotel. End of our services.
