About the destination: Universal Parks & Resorts, also known as Universal Studios Theme Parks, is the theme park subsidiary of NBCUniversal. Universal Parks & Resorts is best known for attractions and lands based on famous pop culture properties, including movies, television, literature, cartoons, comics, video games, and music. Universal Studios Florida features seven themed areas arranged around a large central lagoon. Clockwise from the entrance, the seven themed areas are Production Central, New York, San Francisco, Springfield, World Expo, Woody Woodpecker’s Kidzone, and Hollywood, plus an eighth area, London/Diagon Alley, located between San Francisco and World Expo. Each area offers a mix of rides, shows, attractions, character meet-and-greets, dining options, and merchandise shops.
